The OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine (SMM) will hold its regular news briefing tomorrow in Kyiv.
Alexander Hug, the SMM’s Deputy Chief Monitor, will talk about the recent Mission’s activities and the general security situation throughout Ukraine.

Today, 29 July, at 15.00, the press center of the SSU is to publish a joint statement by the Head of the Security Service of Ukraine Vasyl Hrytsak and the Head of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine Viktor Nazarenko on detention of the officers of Russia’s Armed Forces.
ATO Staff press center invites media representatives (accredited by the SSU to work in ATO area) for a press tour.
It is planned to visit the servicemen of State Special Transport Service who build temporary crossings in ATO area. Many automobile and pedestrian bridges across water obstacles were destroyed by pro-Russian illegal armed formations, despite the fact that these facilities were used by local people.
Also, a floating railway bridge NZM-56 will be presented to the media.
The press tour will be held on Friday, 31 July. Accredited media representatives will be met at 08.40 at the address:. Kramatorsk, Dvortsova street, 37.

The application must specify:
– Name and surname of correspondent and cameraman, name of the media represented, number of press accreditation card, contact telephone numbers, brand and number of vehicles, name and surname of driver.
Tomorrow, on 6 August, at 10 am, at the military unit in Vasilkiv town there will be a meeting of troops of the consolidated detachment of the Air Force of Ukraine who have been performing tasks in the ATO area.
Media accreditation will last until 18:30, 5 August.
The application for accreditation should contain mass media name, as well as surname, name and patronymic, series and passport number of media representative.
Meeting of the accredited media representatives will be held on 6 August, at 09.30 at the checkpoint of the military unit at the addres: Kyiv region, Vasylkiv town, 40 Dekabrystiv street.
Media representatives must have passport of citizen of Ukraine and a document certifying their belonging to the media.
Tomorrow, 11 August, a delegation of UK Ministry of Defence, headed by the Secretary of State for Defence of the United Kingdom Mr. Michael Fallon, during a visit to Ukraine, will visit the place of training of Ukrainian servicemen by British instructors at the site of 199th training center.
The British delegation will attend training places, get acquainted with the educational process, communicate with staff of instructors and Ukrainian soldiers.
Head of the delegation is planned to give an interview to the media.
The journalists who will cover the event will be met at the checkpoint of the 199th training center (village Teterivka, Zhytomyr region) at 14.15 on 11 August 2015.

On August 28, 2015 at 13:00 at the House of Culture “Molodizhnyi” in Mariupol there will be a briefing with the participation of Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Lieutenant-General Ihor Pavlovskyi.
Briefing’s topic: “Analysis of the situation in the aast of our country in August 2014”.
The briefing will be attended by soldiers, who took part in those events.
Tomorrow, 28 August, at 15.00 in the Central House of Officers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine a briefing on medical support of troops, current state and problems of military medicine is held.
The briefing will be attended by the director of the Military Medical Department of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Major-General of Medical Service Andriy Verba, Assistant to the Minister of Defense, medical colonel Vsevolod Stebliuk, Advisor to the Deputy Minister of Defence and a member of the volunteer troops in the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Natalia Voronkova.

During August 31 – September 12, Ukrainian-American naval exercises “Sea Breeze – 2015” including representatives of the fleets of other countries, are planned to start in Odesa and Mykolaiv regions, as well as in the north-western part of the Black Sea.
The purpose of training is to practice multinational security operations in crisis regions. Training has been designed to increase the level of confidence and security in the region, to improve interoperability between the Naval Forces of Ukraine and navies of NATO member and partner countries.
United press center of the training will organize media days for the accredited journalists.

Press center of the Command of Naval Forces of Ukraine
On 5 November, a press conference of the Deputy Defence Minister of Ukraine Yuriy Husyev and Assistant of the US Secretary of Defense for International Security Elissa Slotkin will be held at the Central House of Officers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Participants of the conference will inform the media on the results of Ukrainian-American consultations on defense. Meeting of the media, covering the event will take place on 5 November at 13.30 in the hall of the Central House of Officers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Kyiv, Hrushevskoho street 30/1.
