8 July 2015 in the National Guard of Ukraine the presentation of decorations and awards to the relatives of the soldiers killed in the line of duty is held.

According to the Decree of the President of Ukraine 72 National Guard soldiers were posthumously awarded with state awards of Ukraine.

About 160 relatives are to arrive from different regions of the country to participate in the events.

At 10 a.m. in the church of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Kiev Patriarchate (Ostrovskogo street, 20/1) will be held a prayer service for the soldiers killed in action, which will be attended by relatives, the National Guard of Ukraine Command, military personnel of the Kyiv garrison and the special guests.

Then at 11 a.m. on Solomianska square there will be a ceremony of laying flowers to the monument of MIA staff and servicemen of internal troops and the National Guard of Ukraine who died in the line of duty.

After the events in the city, in the auditorium of the Main Directorate of the National Guard of Ukraine will be held an awarding of gifts to relatives and children of deceased soldiers.

Also there will be provided a oportunity for communication with the heads of financial, logistical and other services from the Main Office of the National Guard with the relatives of the deceased soldiers on possible problems.
