This was stated by the Head of the Security Service of Ukraine Vasyl Hrytsak today during a briefing in the press center of Presidential Administration.

“In general the Russian-terrorist forces in Ukraine involve more than 33,000 people, and about 9,000 soldiers of regular military forces of the Russian army, namely 21 task force of the Russian Federation, of which 15 are battalion-level and six are company-level tactical groups.

In addition, he said, near the border with Ukraine Russia has concentrated 53 tactical groups, 39 battalion-level and 14 company-level tactical groups.

“The total number is about 50,500 soldiers and officers,” – said Hrytsak.

Also, he said, the militants are trained in 195 camps, 54 of which are located in Russia, 30 – in the Crimea, 111 – in eastern Ukraine.

According to him, Ukrainian secret service and intelligence found out that Russian-terrorist forces are divided into two army corps: first one is in Donetsk region, another is in Luhansk region.

These army corps are supervised by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Russia (General Valery Gerasimov) through the Southern Military District headquarters (Colonel General Alexander Galkin) and 12th Reserve Command (Colonel General Andrey Serdyukov).

The coordination of these two corps is conducted by the Deputy Commander of Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Russia, Colonel General Alexander Lentsov.

Moreover, at least eight more Russian generals were involved in military operations in the Donbas, including Sergei Yudin, Andrey Huruliov, Sergey Solomatin, Alexei Zavizyon, Evgeniy Nikiforov, Valeriy Solodchuk and Sergey Kuzovlyev.

According to Hrytsak, “Russian generals use nicknames, leave documents in Russia and act under false names.”

“Russia supplies troops and weapons via railway and through the pontoons on the river Siversky Donets” – added Hrytsak.

Recall that yesterday NSDC listed the names of the leaders of Russian occupation forces in Donbas.
