This was stated today, on 17 July, in Kyiv by the OSCE Head Ivica Dachich, as reported by “Deutsche Welle“.
“If the OSCE representatives will be able to get to where they previously could not get, we can increase their number to one thousand”, – said Dachich.
The OSCE Chairman emphasized that soon the number of observers may be increased to 600. According to him, now the OSCE Mission in Ukraine includes 504 observers.
Moreover, the current OSCE Chairman has said that he will personally participate in the meeting of the Trilateral Contact Group on Ukraine. “I decided to personally participate in the meeting of the Contact Group on 21 July,” – told Dachich.
As known, Ukraine is in favor of granting the OSCE observers access to the territory controlled by the pro-Russian militants.
