On Monday, May 25, about 12:00 in Stanytsia Luhanska district the militants attacked “UAZ” medical vehicle of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, reported the press service of the head of Luhansk regional state administration Hennadiy Moskal.

Sabotage act occurred near the very border with Russia in the Ukraine-controlled territory. Medical vehicle with two servicemen was en route from Komyshne to Syze and came under fire of automatic weapons. As a result, one servicemen (46 years old) was killed, another one was seriously wounded, now he is in hospital.

“This area is often penetrated by sabotage and reconnaissance groups from Russia. The militants plant bombs, which have blasted two military vehicle already, and carry out other sabotage attacks.”- said Moskal.
